There are many reasons why I visit Chelsea; the one primary reason would be to fantasize about a life that we all acquire a taste. Last week Friday, my friend Zahra and I decided to dine at Dozo Sushi in South Kensington as a treat to unwind after having an exhausting but productive week.
I have been to Dozo on numerous occasions; so far it never fails to satisfy! the dishes I have tried have always been to die for. On this visit, I ordered my favorite dish, Hokkaido Hotate Mantaiko – grilled scallops with superior cod roe and mayonnaise and Ebi Tempura whilst Zahra ordered the Rock & Roll sushi as well as the same Hokkaido Hotate Mantaiko dish that I had; with sparkling water of course! As expected the Scallops were very palatable and Zahra found her Rock & Roll sushi devouring too!
The presentation of our food and the ambience surrounding Dozo was perfect – They had excellent customer service!
After our meal at Dozo, we decided to go Godiva in Harrods for some sinful dessert. We opted to walk, as we wanted to swoon over the beautiful houses, cars and restaurants of the neighbourhood of Kensington. As you all know, yours truly loves dining out, so keep an eye out on the blog if you want to discover the best places to eat in Chelsea.
Upon arriving at Godiva in Harrods, we were welcomed by a friendly waitress and seated promptly. We ordered the Mikado Crepe. I’m swearing on Vogue when I tell you that it is the best you are yet to taste. The crepe was perfectly made and was wrapped around a smooth, creamy, rich vanilla ice cream and garnished with a yummy-edible chocolate bow and strawberry.
The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was warm. To address the price, it’s quite on the pricey side but it’s the perfect place to go to when you want to indulge and surround yourself in luxury.
